September 18th and 19th, Patrick went to Gooderham, Ontario, to race the prestigious Corduroy Enduro.

He had some difficulties in the famous hill of the Green Mountain section and finished this section more than 3 minutes late on his opponents. He did a lot of effort to climb up time, section by section. He finally finished the first day in second position, more than a minute behind Allan Lachapelle.

On Sunday, Patrick just thought about winning this enduro. He finally successed and won the Corduroy Enduro for the 4th time!!

Since 1953, only two persons won this enduro more often than Patrick; the famous John Penton and Blair Sharpless.

Les 18 et 19 septembre dernier ce déroulait le prestigieux Corduroy Enduro, à Gooderham, en Ontario.

Patrick est parti sur une mauvaise note le samedi matin en ayant quelques difficultés dans la fameuse côte de la section Green Mountain. Quelques autres coureurs ayant bien réussi cette section, Patrick avait maintenant plus de 3 minutes de retard. Il a donc fait beaucoup d’effort pour remonter ses adversaires, section par section. Il a finalement terminé sa première journée en 2ème place, environ une minute et quelques secondes derrière Allan Lachapelle.

Le dimanche, Patrick n’avait qu’une idée en tête, rattraper Allan Lachapelle et ainsi remporter la fameuse buche du Corduroy. Il a finalement atteint son objectif et a gagné pour la 4ème fois le Corduroy Enduro.

Depuis 1953, seulement 2 personnes ont remporté cet enduro plus souvent que Patrick, soit le fameux John Penton et Blair Sharpless.
