Giroux and Geoffrion put Husqvarna on top of FMSQ podium today
Guy Giroux just sent a text message I thought I’d pass on. At the FMSQ race at Victoriaville, QC, this afternoon the Feeding Performance/ZipTy/Husqvarna rider took the victory riding a near-stock Husqvarna TC250F motocross bike! That means Giroux has put Husqvarna 2010 two-stroke and four-stroke, enduro and motocross bikes, in a whole slew of different engine displacements on FMSQ podiums this season! According to the text message and a quick phone call, Giroux won by over a minute despite only un-crating the bike a couple days ago. He says he absolutely loved the little Husky 250 moto-F for woods racing!
Giroux also mentioned that Karine Geoffrion won the woman’s class on her Husqvarna CR144, also winning by over a minute. Giroux promises to send one of his infamous press releases to Offroadmotorcycles.ca as soon as he finishes celebrating, but before he heads to Parry Sound for CEC rounds 6 and 7 Sept 11/12!
Hi Dan,
2010 Husky Podiums….This is going to make a great news article in October!
On The Box!125, 144 & 250 smoker
250, 450 & 510 stroker
Last but not least….I think that sexy 630 dominated the pit bike class at Apex this year! No contest! (Ed.Note: Ya, it was cool…but the foo foo bike made it up the gnarliest trails to the top of mountains in Blairmore, Kamloops and Apex!)
Next on the podium check list: My all time favorite engine configuration……300 cubic centimeters of love, WR 300!
And being a team player, I will try to podium the pit bike class again in Parry Sound on a 510 Motard!
Haha, Cheers, Marc Coffin
