Day-one done, Canadian Women sixth in EW class at ISDE

At the end of day-one of the 2010 ISDE, in Morelia, Mexico, the Canadian Women’s team sits in sixth position after Karine Gendron and Almeda Rive retired at the ninth (final) special test. The EW class currently has the French team out front, followed by Germany, Sweden, USA and Chile. Mexico holds seventh place.

Our Canadian women have been doing pretty well in the special tests, with solid mid-pack results. Hett had a good day, finishing all nine tests with seven of them being in the top-ten! Here are their special test results from today.

Karine Gendron, 206, KAW KX125: 17, 18, 19, 20, 19, 16, 17, 17, 0

Almeda Rive, 306, KTM 450XC-W: 14, 14, 14, 16, 16, 14, 15, 15, 0

Victoria Hett, 406, KTM 250 XC-W: 12, 10, 11, 9, 10, 9, 10, 9, 9
